Browsing the library
Artifacts opens to a grid of tiles, newest first. Each tile shows a preview, the file name, and which task produced it.- Search — Find a file by name from the search box at the top of the page.
- File type filter — Narrow the grid to one of seven categories: All file types, Images, Video, Documents, Spreadsheets, Decks, or Code.
- Creator filter (admins only) — Admins can filter the library to files produced for a specific person. Members don’t see this control — they’re scoped to their own artifacts automatically, so a filter would have nothing to add.
- Infinite scroll — Keep scrolling and more artifacts load in behind the scenes; there’s no pagination to click through.
The file detail view
Opening a tile is where Artifacts earns its place as more than a file browser. The dialog previews the file inline — images, video, audio, PDFs, spreadsheets, Word docs, PowerPoint decks, CSVs, code, and markdown all render without downloading anything first. From here you can:- Move between files — Prev/next arrows step through the filtered set you opened from, without closing the dialog.
- Download — Save the file locally.
- View source task — Jump straight to the task that produced it, useful when you want the full context behind a file.
- Edit markdown files inline — Markdown artifacts open with an editor built in. Make changes and Save, or Cancel to back out — if you’ve made changes, Appy confirms before discarding them.
Sharing a file publicly
Click Share to generate a public link to that one document — anyone with the link can view it, no Appy login required. Once shared, the button becomes Public; click it to copy the link again or to click Make private and revoke access. Making a file private and sharing it again later reuses the same link, so you don’t have to redistribute a new URL each time you toggle it.An artifact share link and a published website are two different things. A share link publishes one document for anyone to view. A website is a full site an agent has built and published, with its own gallery on the Websites page. If you’re looking to share a single report or file, use Artifacts; if you’re looking for a live site your agents built, check Websites.
