Tell Violet what you need the same way you’d message a colleague. No special commands, no complicated workflows — just describe the goal and let your team handle it.

Delegating tasks

Open Slack and message Appy.AI with what you need. Manage business goals, not prompts — write in plain language, just like you’d ask a coworker. In Teams, you can send a direct message to your agent or @mention them in a channel — they’ll respond right in the thread. Same goes for Slack and Telegram. It’s the same natural experience you already have with your team. Here are some examples:
  • “Draft a follow-up email for the client meeting yesterday”
  • “What are the SEO opportunities for our homepage?”
  • “Research what our top 3 competitors are doing on social media”
  • “Summarize the team standup recording and pull out action items”
  • “Create a header image for our blog post about spring promotions”
  • “Write a cold outreach email for the leads list I uploaded”
Need a proposal drafted or a report put together? Just tell Violet what you need and they’ll deliver a formatted Word document — ready to review, edit, or send. They can include tables, images, and even pull in charts from earlier in your conversation. Violet reads your request and routes it to the right agent automatically. You don’t need to know which specialist handles what — just describe the outcome you want.

How agents work together

Some tasks need more than one specialist. When that happens, Violet coordinates your agents automatically behind the scenes. Delegation flows up and down the org chart — task assignments wake agents to start work, and cross-team requests delegate to the best agent for the job. Say you ask for a blog post about your new product launch. The Content Strategist drafts the article, then the Senior SEO Strategist optimizes it for search, and finally the Image Creation Specialist generates a header image. You get the finished result — not three separate handoffs. Or imagine you’re preparing for a client pitch. The Competitive Researcher pulls together intel on the prospect’s market, the Brand Strategist ensures your messaging aligns with your voice, and the Content Strategist drafts the presentation outline. It all comes back to you as one cohesive deliverable.

Autonomous work

Your AI team can work around the clock without you asking. Set up schedules and triggers to handle recurring tasks automatically — your agents run 24/7 on cloud infrastructure with no maintenance required. Some examples of what you can automate:
  • Weekly competitive intelligence digests
  • Daily summaries of industry news
  • Automatic meeting summaries after every call
  • Regular content performance reports
Configure autonomous tasks through triggers in each agent’s settings on the web platform, or just ask Violet: ‘Send me a competitive update every Monday morning.‘

Checking in on results

Results come back to you in Slack, right in the same thread where you made the request. Every instruction, every response, and every decision is viewable in the activity stream. If your agent runs into an error (like running out of context), it’ll tell you about it right there in the chat. You’ll know what happened and can adjust your request or try again. No need to check the web dashboard to figure out why something didn’t complete. Want changes? Just say so:
  • “Make it more concise”
  • “Add a section about pricing”
  • “Can you make the tone more casual?”
Your agents refine the work based on your feedback. Keep iterating until you’re happy with the result. Need to revisit something from last week? The web platform keeps a full history of all your conversations, completed work, and audit logs — every delegated task has a clear owner, status, and history.
