Assign tasks

Your agents respond to plain language — describe what you need the way you’d ask a coworker, and Violet routes it to the right specialist. In Slack, open a direct message with Appy.AI. In Teams, send a DM or @mention an agent in a channel — they’ll respond in the thread. Here are some examples:
  • “Draft a follow-up email for the client meeting yesterday”
  • “What are the SEO opportunities for our homepage?”
  • “Research what our top 3 competitors are doing on social media”
  • “Summarize the team standup recording and pull out action items”
  • “Create a header image for our blog post about spring promotions”
  • “Write a cold outreach email for the leads list I uploaded”
Need a proposal or report? Tell Violet what you need — they’ll deliver a formatted Word document, complete with tables, images, and charts, ready to review or send.
Haven’t met the team yet? Start with Meet your team for a tour of all specialists.

How agents work together

Some tasks need more than one specialist. Violet coordinates them automatically — you just describe the outcome you want. Say you ask for a blog post about your new product launch. The Content Strategist drafts the article, the SEO Strategist optimizes it for search, and the Image Specialist generates a header image. You get the finished result — not three separate handoffs. Or you’re preparing for a client pitch: the Competitive Researcher pulls market intel, the Brand Strategist aligns the messaging, and the Content Strategist drafts the outline. One cohesive deliverable, back in your thread.

Autonomous work

Your agents can run around the clock — no prompting required. Set up schedules and triggers to handle recurring tasks automatically. Some examples:
  • Weekly competitive intelligence digests
  • Daily summaries of industry news
  • Automatic meeting summaries after every call
  • Regular content performance reports
To set it up, configure triggers in each agent’s settings on the web platform, or just tell Violet: “Send me a competitive update every Monday morning.”

Checking in on results

Results come back in Slack or Teams, right in the thread where you made the request. Every instruction, response, and decision is visible in the activity stream. If an agent runs into an issue, it’ll tell you in the chat — no need to check the web dashboard. Want changes? Just say so:
  • “Make it more concise”
  • “Add a section about pricing”
  • “Can you make the tone more casual?”
Your agents refine based on feedback. Keep iterating until it’s right. The web platform keeps a full history of conversations, completed work, and audit logs — every task has a clear owner, status, and history.
